Freedom from Your Pain

What causes tension?

When any part of the body experiences trauma (anything that puts stress on the body) the muscle fibers contract to protect the area from injury. It's like a turtle pulling into its shell when danger is present.

While this reaction is great for short term stressors sometimes the muscle fibers can get stuck in a contracted state preventing you from returning to homeostasis. If the turtle's neck locked up on one side it wouldn't be able to leave its shell and would be at risk of further danger.

In our lives we typically don't have the same survival based needs as a turtle, but we do still experience stressors that cause us to react similarly. Some of the stressors we face most commonly are:

-
Moderate to high levels of stress
-
Forward Head Posture
-
Automobile injuries
-
Sports injuries
-
Poor sleeping posture
-
Age
-
Chronic overuse (activities that require you to look down, or stationary for long periods of time)

I hadn't had a massage in decades. Rebekah's friendly and professional manner was wonderful!
The massage helped relax some tension in my neck and upper back and in my hips, which often bothers me. All of it felt amazing while she did it and, of course, afterward.
With her affordable prices, I look forward to future visits

I didn’t know how much I needed a massage until Rebekah worked her magic on my back. Years of back pain seemed to melt away as she worked on my knotted back.
The entire process was amazing, I felt extremely relaxed. At the end when I stood up I didn’t feel my back, which was a shock after a constant dull ache I’d felt for years

Rebekah Carroll is the most wonderful massage therapist! She listens to my concerns, relieves my pain, is professional and kind. She makes me feel comfortable, even though I'm very shy.

Rebekah can always relieve my variety of pain and adjusts to my changing needs. She knows many techniques that help my knees feel better and releases the swelling in my feet

It was my first time getting a massage. I was a little nervous before, but was very impressed with how professional and personable Rebekah was. She made me feel very comfortable during the whole experience

I loved my massage with Rebekah. I asked her to focus on my back and she did an amazing job. It was the perfect balance of relaxing and also working on my tight muscles. I would highly recommend her

Excellent massage! She really (I mean REALLY) worked my problem areas at just the right amount of pressure. I'm quite enjoying the long-term effects this massage has had on releasing the tension and pain in my neck and shoulders and the increased mobility, as well. Highly recommend!"

At 14 years old I learned my right leg was shorter than my left and I would likely always have spinal problems because of it. I would always be in pain. That was not a future I was planning on accepting. From heel lifts to physical therapy, I tried everything to ease my back pain. But nothing stuck.

In 2017, I started my education in Massage Therapy and finally learned why I was still in pain. I'd developed additional imbalances tugging my body in dozens of different directions. Studying massage taught me how to work the soft tissue in a way that resolved these imbalances.

Having been in pain in dozens of different ways and having tried everything short of surgery to ease that pain has taught me the value of a great massage at an affordable price—which is what I promise to give you.
